Here's an overview of my nearly 4 decades of Award-Winning Experience since 1971. IN BRIEF:
IN GREATER DETAIL: I've been a full-time professional real estate agent since 1971 when I began my career selling new and resale homes, and small commercial properties in New Jersey. Since then, I've been involved in literally thousands of real estate transactions in several states, including Arizona. I became a NJ licensed real estate broker in 1977, and was awarded the National Association of REALTORS® "Million Dollar Sales Award"; the average sale price in my market area was about $35,000. I opened my own real estate agency in early 1978 and we quickly grew to dominate our market area by developing aggressive and innovative marketing strategies and performance-linked commission programs. I was awarded First Place for "Best Classified Advertising in New Jersey" by the New Jersey Press Association for several consecutive years starting in 1979. After expanding into new construction and renovations, I became involved in the appraisal sector of the industry and became well known in the field of litigation and expert testimony. I've been accepted as an expert witness in numerous federal, state and local jurisdictions in several states. I earned two Accredited Senior Appraiser professional appraisal designations from the American Society of Appraisers; one in Real Property/Urban, and one in the highly specialized field of Machinery & Technical Specialties: Mines & Quarries. I am also among the first in the US to obtain a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license. I served as Acting Senior Review Appraiser (GS-14) for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) during the savings and loan crisis in the early 1990's. I've also created and provided professional real estate education courses and seminars throughout the US, as well as having written several articles on various real estate topics. In the late 1990's, I consulted to a number of major commercial and residential mortgage lenders and Wall Street firms, including Chase Commercial Mortgage Bank, Citicorp Securities, Deutsche Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York. I became an Arizona Real Estate Broker in January 2001, and my wife and I moved to the Phoenix area in early 2001. In nearly 40 years as a real estate professional, my career has encountered 5 major economic recessions, including several mortgage droughts during the early and mid 1970's, 18% - 20% mortgage interest rates during 1980 and 1981, the savings and loan crisis between 1988 and the mid 1990's, in addition to the current economic crisis which began in 2007. Over these 4 decades, I've gained knowledge that only experience can teach. I look forward to the opportunity to provide you the benefits of my knowledge and experience. |
